Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE) Recruiting Executive Director
The Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE) seeks to recruit a focused, results-oriented and suitably qualified professional to fill the position below. The individual will serve as the principal strategy and business development executive of the Association and report to the President of the Association/Executive Committee. He/she will also be responsible for developing, implementing and managing short, medium and long-term strategies that will ensure the continued growth of the Association.
Job Position: Executive Director
The roles and responsibilities shall include (but not limited to) the following:
Champion the formulation of the Association™s corporate strategies and ensure implementation.
Ensure the continuous review and assessment of the appropriateness and effectiveness of the Association™s policies, procedures and processes and identify areas of improvement in line with best practices.
Drive the development of annual activities, including business plans, operational requirements, staffing and budgets to ensure business continuity, as well as supervise and coordinate the day-to-day management of the affairs of the Association within the guidelines established by the Executive Committee.
Assist all committees established by the President/Executive Committee to ensure the successful accomplishment of tasks and targets, as well as take charge of the Association™s headquarters and personnel as authorized by the Executive Committee.
Co-ordinate such activities that may position the Association for sustainable competitive advantage. Serve as a key brand icon for the Association and consistently reinforce and promote the corporate brand, value and identity.
Take responsibility for the Association™s events, particularly the Monthly Technical Meetings and the annual Conferences and Exhibitions.
Co-ordinate the programs, vision and growth initiatives of the Association for sustainable growth and development, as well as plan and lead the execution of strategies aimed at attracting new members and opportunities from the relevant sectors of the economy in line with the Association™s policies.
Provide periodic updates and reports to the Executive Committee
