YOUNGS has been ruled out of the rest of the tour of South Africa with a shoulder injury. Youngs was hugely impressive in England’s second Test defeat against South Africa on Saturday, scoring two tries in 10 minutes to spark a second-half fightback.

He was taken off with six minutes to go and will be replaced in the
squad by Harlequins’ Karl Dickson – older brother of Lee, who came on
for Youngs in Johannesburg.

Lee will now have the chance to make the
scrum-half position his own for the third and final Test in Port
Elizabeth on Saturday.

But Youngs’ bad luck could also open the door for
Danny Care to resurrect his international career.

Care was dropped for the Six
Nations after a series of off-field incidents involving alcohol.
