Daniel Sturridge has laughed off speculation linking him with a move to Arsenal as part of a swap deal that would see
Theo Walcott join Chelsea.
The Blues striker was rumoured to be unhappy that
Andre Villas-Boas prefers to play him out wide instead of in his favoured central role, and with the club’s apparent refusal to open talks about a contract extension.

That led to claims Chelsea were keen to offload him to Arsenal in return for Walcott, who has less than 18 months remaining on his current deal at the Emirates Stadium.
However, Sturridge insisted he was content at Stamford Bridge and unconcerned about his contract situation.
‘I love playing for Chelsea. Some of the stuff I’ve read about me asking for a contract is not true,’ the 22-year-old said.
